A popular refrain in wellness culture is “Trauma is stored in the body.” Well, it’s time to get it out of storage! This talk supports the public and practitioners alike in understanding what survivors of sexual trauma face when using psychedelics and entheogens to heal. Weaving together theory of the body and emotions, highlights include ways to make psychedelic healing more effective and a breakdown of the relational dynamics that practitioners and survivors navigate in the healing process.
